Murray Hill Duplex
Duplex Home Interior Design: Murray Hill Residence
Project Overview
This 1000 sq. ft. duplex home in Manhattan’s Murray Hill neighborhood exemplifies elevated duplex home interior design. Set inside an Art Deco building with sweeping views of the Chrysler Building, Sara Mosele Interiors transformed this city apartment into a glamorous, jewel-box-inspired residence rich in detail and luxury.
Design Vision
The goal was to design a home that felt layered, expressive, and atmospheric—like a high-style retreat suspended above the city. Gold accents, deep wood tones, and textural finishes bring contrast and drama to this vertical space while respecting its elegant architectural bones.

What Our Clients Say
“Sara and her team guided me through the journey that made an empty Chelsea apartment into my first new home. She did it by first listening and learning my preferences, to then create a vision of the space, the colors, the volumes. With patience and expertise, Sara was able to illustrate such vision, which became reality right in front me, item by item that we chose together: couch, TV stand, carpet, coffee table, bookshelves, but also table, chairs, bed, wardrobe ... Each piece selected so to be in harmony with the others, curated to the smallest detail. Today, everyone who visits is impressed by the result. More importantly, every time I enter my apartment, I truly feel home. I couldn’t be happier to have had Sara lead me through this journey and have trusted her judgment and experience. ”
